How Long Will My Facial Fillers Last?- Charleston, SC

There are several different types of facial fillers that do everything from adding volume and hydration to your skin to plumping your lips. These varying types of filler each have their advantages and disadvantages and it really depends on the patient and their skin to choose the one that is right for them. Because all of these procedures are different, the results are not all going to last for the same amount of time. Typically, facial fillers last from a few months to several years or more.

Take a look at the facial fillers offered at Dr. O’Neill’s office.

RADIESSE®

RADIESSE® is a manufactured dermal filler that temporarily adds volume to help smooth wrinkles and folds on the face. Common folds and wrinkles that RADIESSE® targets are the creases that around the nose and corners of your mouth. RADIESSE® results may last up to a year or more.

Restylane®

Restylane® is a dermal filler made of hyaluronic acid, adding fullness to skin that has lost its natural volume. Restylane® is effective in filling facial wrinkles and folds without the need for surgery. Results typically last about six months, and can be repeated as necessary.

Juvederm™

Juvederm™ injectable gel is a smooth consistency gel made of hyaluronic acid—a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration. Dr. O’Neill eases Juvederm™ injectable gel under the skin to instantly restore your skin’s volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds. Results can last up to 9 to 12 months.

Juvederm™ Voluma™
