What can a Facelift Surgery Do for Me?
A facelift surgery can restore a more youthful appearance, improve the overall profile, and may even improve your vision, if the skin of the eyelids has begun to sag and is obscuring vision, a common problem. A mini facelift can address relatively minor issues and improve your profile. When considering facelift cost, remember that a more youthful appearance can have a strong impact upon your professional as well as your personal life.
What is a Facelift?
A facelift is a surgical procedure that reduces the signs of aging in the face and neck, such as sagging skin, deepening in the fold lines around the nose and mouth, jowls, and loose skin that appears as a “double chin” or sagging skin around the neck. A lift can smooth lines and produce a rejuvenated appearance.
Mini Facelift
A mini facelift, or lower facelift, addresses sagging and wrinkles on the lower third of the face. Small incisions are made around the ears, allowing the surgeon to gently remove excess tissue and tighten the remaining tissue to produce a more pleasing profile and smoother overall look to the face.
Mid Facelift
As we age, the area around the cheeks tends to sag and lose some of its plumpness. The problem isn’t always solved with traditional facelift surgery. There are few non-surgical facelift options for this area of the face. It may be necessary to have your surgeon specifically address this area in order to achieve the pleasing results you desire.
Non-Surgical Facelift
Many non-surgical options offer some of the same benefits as a full facelift. For mild to moderate wrinkles and sagging, it may be possible to use non-surgical facelift techniques, such as Botox or CoolSculpting, to address the patient’s concerns.
