How To Improve Saggy Skin Before Summer

Summer is quickly approaching and with it, everyone’s desire to feel their best about their body. As the layers come off, it can be easy to become more aware of areas where the skin is less taut than others. You may start to wonder about how to improve saggy skin. This does not have to be a worry. At O’Neill Plastic Surgery, we offer three different minimally invasive, effective methods to improve saggy skin before those summer months.

Methods To Improve Saggy Skin

These three methods all offer different opportunities to improve saggy skin. You may find as you read through each procedure that one stands out to you over the others. If that is not the case, a simple consultation with a doctor can provide you with all the answers and recommendations you need.

Morpheus8 Treatment

The Morpheus8 Treatment is the latest safe, non-invasive skin resurfacing treatment. As a micro-needling treatment, it uses radiofrequency to stimulate collagen production to tighten skin, reduce wrinkles, and even improve skin texture. This procedure is done with a subdermal adipose remodeling device (SARD) that remodels and contours the face and body. It is often done on the lower face and neck, while also on areas of the face and body that exhibit acne scars or skin discoloration.

As is the case for some procedures, the most visible results will show after three months. However, you can begin to see improvements as soon as four weeks after beginning the process. You can find real patients’ before and after results on our website here.

FaceTite

FaceTite is another great option to improve saggy skin this summer. Without needing to go near a scalpel, you can improve the skin laxity on your face and neck. You see the results of a skin tightening procedure, without having to go through surgery. FaceTite uses radiofrequency energy to provide its results. This energy gently heats and tightens under the surface layers of the skin. This is often done on any areas of the face or neck that experience saggy skin.

Facetite increases in collagen production meaning you will see results over time. After six months, the best final results will be noticeable. There is little downtime. This varies greatly on the area treated and the specific patient.

BodyTite

While the face and neck are common areas to want to improve saggy skin, the rest of the body can also become a concern. Similar to the FaceTite procedure, BodyTite works with minimally invasive equipment to achieve results without the intensity of a more invasive surgical procedure. Radiofrequency assisted lipolysis gently melts and removes excess fat, tightening the skin in the process. There is very little discomfort or pain to achieve these results. Numerous areas of the body are available for BodyTite, and we are happy to discuss these with you.

For BodyTitle, the best results present themselves after six months with a continuation of up to twelve months. Similar to FaceTite, there is minimal downtime from as little as one day and up to ten. This is dependent on the area of the procedure and the patient.

We all want to feel our best in the summer months. Getting to improve saggy skin is a great place to start gaining that confidence. These three methods are minimally invasive and quick ways to make that happen. You may even find that after one procedure, you want to start trying out others as well.
