While fall is upon us, it is time to start thinking about correction.

zo-skin-health

We did it! We survived another hot hot summer down here in the Low Country! Happy Fall Y’all !!  I hope you’ve done your best protecting and treating your skin well during these past few months and now the time has come to really start thinking about skin correction and protection from any past or present damage that has been done. This month, I’d like to fill you in on the products we offer here at O’Neill Plastic Surgery that will combat color correction, lifelessness, and aging skin.

I truly believe that it starts with the products we use. I recommend all of my patients to get themselves on board with Dr. Obagi’s  ZO Daily Health regimen that will provide the basic building blocks to better skin health. Cleansing, exfoliating, oil control/tone and of course protection. These basic principles implemented by Dr. Obagi prepares skin to function properly, tolerating all daily exposure and activities. These basic steps are essential in preventing and controlling, acne, rosacea, skin pigmentation problems, enlarged pores, rough and damaged skin texture. My product recommendations include; a cleanser, like Normacleanse or Foamacleanse if you like a bubbly wash (Note; For oily skin type, use Oilacleanse)  followed up by Offects Exfoliating Polish, Ossential Daily Power defense, Oclipse Sunscreen and Primer and Offects TE-Pads for pore treatment. Each of these products will provide the tools to help achieve healthier skin. It utilizes retinol, specialized enzymes and antioxidants to promote cellular function and restore and maintain youthful, healthy looking skin.

Now that you’ve gotten the basics, it’s time to go in a bit deeper creating the most effective treatment plan for your specific skin needs at a rate that you are comfortable with by making improvements, fast, moderate or gradual. ZO Medical has products to help with aging, textural, sun damaged, acneic, and rosacea. Below I’ve listed a few sample regimens for specific skin conditions and treatment with product by ZO Medical.
