Dr. O’Neill’s Education & Plastic Surgery Training
After completing medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, Dr. O’Neill completed nine years of residency training. This included a full general surgery and a plastic surgery residency, both at the Medical University of South Carolina, and a hand and microsurgery fellowship at the Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery in Louisville, Kentucky.
We are very proud to announce that Dr. O’Neill has been voted as the Best Plastic Surgeon in Charleston by City Paper voters 11 years in a row! This is a testament to the continued professionalism and results that O’Neill Plastic Surgery continues to provide its patients every year.
Dr. O’Neill’s Experience
Upon completing training, Dr. O’Neill began working as an attending surgeon at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2000. He continues to work and teach at the Medical University of South Carolina as a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery, helping refine the skills of future plastic surgeons. He believes strongly in passing on his years of skills and experience to the next generation of plastic surgeons.
