“How long will it last?” is one of the most commonly asked questions during our consultations at O’Neill. You can always rest assured that our team delivers the highest level of results, including procedure results that stand the test of time. We are here to educate you on the latest cosmetic technology and procedures while still helping you find the perfect treatment to meet your goals. Of course, our bodies are always changing, so we wanted to take time to explain how long you can expect procedure results to last and share some tips on how to make your treatments last as long as possible.
Botox
Botox is one of our most popular and quickest procedures. The treatment takes about 10 minutes in the office, and you can begin to see results in a matter of days. The final procedure results typically become visible in a month and will last around three to six months. Botox is perfect for those looking for a natural, enhanced appearance. Botox even helps to improve the appearance after the treatment has worn off as the muscles causing the wrinkles have shrunk over time, leading to less severe lines.
CoolSculpting
If you have areas of stubborn fat that aren’t responding to diet and exercise, CoolScuplting can help remove the fat without the need for surgery. This treatment is both effective and long-lasting because it kills off fat cells. Once the fat cells are eliminated from the body, they’re gone for good. If you maintain a healthy lifestyle following your CoolScuplting treatment, the procedure results should last indefinitely. If you gain weight, however, it is possible to gain fat back in the treated area.
Skin Tightening Services
BodyTite
BodyTite is a non-surgical body contouring procedure that targets excess fat and loose skin. This procedure is minimally invasive and only requires a couple of days of downtime. This procedure uses patented RFAL technology to gently melt and remove excess fat through a tiny incision in an inconspicuous location. Because the fat is already pre-melted, the removal process is simplified and greatly reduces any pain, swelling, and discomfort after the treatment, leading to a shorter downtime. You can typically expect the procedure results of BodyTite to last around five years, but your genetics, lifestyle choices, and overall skin condition can impact the longevity of your results.
FaceTite
Like BodyTite, FaceTite penetrates more deeply than other RF and ultrasound energy treatments. The tightening effects of this procedure are FDA-approved to last one year, but many patients report procedure results lasting up to five years.
Morpheus8
Morpheus8 is a technologically advanced, safe, non-invasive skin resurfacing treatment. This micro-needling treatment uses radiofrequency to stimulate collagen production to tighten skin, reduce wrinkles, and improve skin texture. Morpheus8 takes years off the appearance of skin without surgery and with very little downtime. If you’re looking for an all-over wrinkle treatment, Mopheus8 may be the right treatment for you. The initial results of Morpheus8 last about one year, but you can prolong these results to 3 years with annual visits to O’Neill Plastic Surgery to maintain collagen production.
Liposuction
Liposuction targets unwanted localized fat deposits that do not respond to diet and exercise. In order to remove this excess fat, liposuction uses a vacuum to remove the fat cells directly for the specific area. The procedure results of liposuction become visible in a matter of months and are generally long-lasting as long as you maintain your weight. It’s natural for skin to lose some firmness with aging, but the unwanted fat should not return as long as you do not gain weight.
